Square Metal Plant Supports
A minimal square plant support handcrafted from 3 mm steel. The forked base pushes into the compost to create a stable support for climbing, spreading or leaning houseplants and provides a clean alternative to a moss pole.
Choose the 30 cm or 50 cm height and one of the standard powder-coated colours. The two sizes have different widths and soil-fork dimensions so the support remains proportionate to the plant and pot.
The square outline creates a simple framed structure around the plant without hiding it. For a different height, width or shape, contact me to discuss a custom support.

Made to order in up to 7 working days. Courier delivery usually takes a further 2–4 working days, giving an estimated delivery window of 9–11 working days from ordering.

This product is made to your individual specifications or customised for your order, so the usual change-of-mind return right does not apply.

Choosing a size
Both sizes are made from 3 mm steel with a forked base that pushes into the soil.
- 30 cm support: 12 cm wide, 24 cm above the soil and a 6 × 6 cm soil fork.
- 50 cm support: 16 cm wide, 42 cm above the soil and an 8 × 8 cm soil fork.
Choose the size according to the height and spread of the plant, allowing enough of the support to remain above the compost.
The supports work as a clean, minimal alternative to a moss pole. For a different height, width or shape, request a custom order.
Using the support
Push the forked base firmly into the compost, taking care around established roots.
Position the frame where the plant naturally needs support, then guide stems or leaves around it as the plant grows. The plant support is designed to be flexible to help position it on the plant.
The support is intended to steady and guide the plant rather than carry the full weight of a damaged plant or an unstable pot.
Custom orders and commissions
Many products can be adjusted in size, finish, fixing method or construction.
Where a customisation box is shown, use it for straightforward instructions that do not change the basic product, such as peg positions for plant stands, small clearance changes or additional information on your application.
For a different size, changed design, alternative fixing or more involved request, contact me before ordering. I can confirm what is practical and create a custom listing where needed.
Colours and custom colours
Standard colours are Black, White, Dark Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow and Pink.
Please contact me for a RAL reference for any particular colour. Colours can look slightly different on screen depending on the device and lighting.
For a colour that is not listed, contact me before ordering. A custom powder colour normally has a setup charge of approximately £15–£20, depending on the finish.
Multiple items in the same custom colour incur one setup charge rather than a separate charge for every item.
Care and cleaning
No routine maintenance is required. Clean with water or a damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads, powders or harsh scrubbing that could mark the powder-coated finish.
Outdoor pieces can be wiped clean as required. Damage that exposes bare steel should be touched in to reduce local rusting.
