Metal Pet Bowl Stands
A handmade raised steel pet bowl stand designed to hold food or water at a chosen height while keeping the bowl secure and easy to remove for cleaning.
The sturdy frame is made from solid 6 mm steel and powder coated in your chosen colour. Each standard stand includes one removable 900 ml stainless-steel bowl measuring approximately 16 cm in diameter × 5.5 cm deep.
Choose a stand height of 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm or 40 cm to suit your pet and feeding space.
The standard bowl is generally suited to small and medium-sized pets. Stands can also be made to fit an existing bowl or to different height and diameter measurements.

This product is made to your individual specifications or customised for your order, so the usual change-of-mind return right does not apply.

Included bowl and size options
Each standard stand is supplied with one removable stainless-steel bowl.
- Approximate bowl capacity: 900 ml
- Bowl diameter: approximately 16 cm
- Bowl depth: approximately 5.5 cm
The standard bowl is generally suited to small and medium-sized pets. Check both the bowl capacity and the selected stand height against your pet’s requirements before ordering.
Choosing a stand height
The standard stand is available in heights of 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm and 40 cm.
Measure from the floor to the height at which you want the rim of the bowl to sit. Remember that the bowl drops into the supporting ring, so the selected stand height describes the stand rather than the exact height of the food or water inside it.
There is no single correct height for every pet. Consider your pet’s size, normal feeding position and the location where the stand will be used.
Where a particular feeding height has been recommended because of a medical or mobility issue, confirm the required measurement with your veterinary professional before ordering.
Measuring an existing bowl
Getting the correct size is important because each custom stand is made to the measurements supplied.
Tapered bowls: measure the circumference of the bowl at the point where the stand will support it. If you do not have a flexible tape measure, wrap a piece of string around the bowl and measure the string. Divide the circumference by 3.14 to calculate the diameter. Measure twice before providing the size.
Straight-sided bowls: these need support pegs because the sides do not widen and rest naturally in the stand. Allow approximately 1 cm more than the bowl diameter for a comfortable fit.
Where the bowl shape or measurement is unclear, send a photograph together with the measurements before ordering.
Custom bowls and stand sizes
The standard stand includes a 16 cm stainless-steel bowl, but the frame can also be made to fit a bowl you already own.
Custom stand heights and bowl diameters are available where the standard options do not suit your pet or feeding space.
When enquiring, include:
- The bowl diameter or circumference at the point where the frame should support it
- The bowl depth
- The required stand height
Changes to the height, diameter or support arrangement may affect the stability and price. Contact me before ordering so I can confirm the design and create a custom listing where required.
Colours and custom colours
Standard colours are Black, White, Dark Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow and Pink.
Please contact me for a RAL reference for any particular colour. Colours can look slightly different on screen depending on the device and lighting.
For a colour that is not listed, contact me before ordering. A custom powder colour normally has a setup charge of approximately £15–£20, depending on the finish.
Multiple items in the same custom colour incur one setup charge rather than a separate charge for every item.
Using and cleaning the stand
Place the stand on a level, stable floor where it cannot rock or be easily knocked over. Check that the bowl sits securely within the supporting ring before adding food or water.
The stainless-steel bowl is removable and should be washed separately using normal pet-bowl cleaning methods. Dry it before returning it to the stand.
Wipe the powder-coated frame with a soft damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Clean up spilled food or water promptly, particularly around the lower frame and floor contact points.
Do not use abrasive pads, wire brushes or harsh chemical cleaners on the powder-coated finish.
