Metal Cookbook Stands
A handmade steel cookbook stand designed to keep recipes upright, open and easy to read while you cook.
The clean, minimal frame is made from solid 6 mm square steel bar and supports cookbooks, tablets and recipe cards without taking up unnecessary worktop space.
The standard stand measures approximately 30 cm wide × 13 cm high × 14 cm deep and is powder coated in your chosen colour.
Custom sizes and adapted versions for framed photographs, prints or other display pieces are also available. Contact me before ordering where you need different dimensions or a changed design.
Paired with a favourite cookbook, it also makes a practical and thoughtful gift.

Made to order in up to 7 working days. Courier delivery usually takes a further 2–4 working days, giving an estimated delivery window of 9–11 working days from ordering.

This product is made to your individual specifications or customised for your order, so the usual change-of-mind return right does not apply.

Check the available worktop space before ordering, particularly where the stand will sit beneath wall cupboards or close to cooking appliances.
Using the stand
The open steel frame supports cookbooks, tablets and recipe cards at a comfortable reading angle while keeping the page or screen clearly visible.
Place the stand on a level, stable worktop and centre the book or device within the frame. Very small, unusually thick or heavily unbalanced books may sit differently from standard cookbooks.
Keep the stand and anything displayed on it safely away from naked flames, hot pans, steam and areas where it could be knocked while cooking.
Custom sizing and display adaptations
The standard stand can be adjusted where you need a different width, height or depth for a particular cookbook, tablet or display space.
The same basic design can also be adapted for displaying framed photographs, prints or other flat items.
Before contacting me, note the dimensions and approximate weight of the item you want to display, together with the available surface space. A photograph is also helpful where the intended use is unusual.
Changing the size or design may affect the proportions and price. Contact me before ordering so I can confirm what is practical and create a custom listing where required.
Colours and custom colours
Standard colours are Black, White, Dark Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow and Pink.
Please contact me for a RAL reference for any particular colour. Colours can look slightly different on screen depending on the device and lighting.
For a colour that is not listed, contact me before ordering. A custom powder colour normally has a setup charge of approximately £15–£20, depending on the finish.
Multiple items in the same custom colour incur one setup charge rather than a separate charge for every item.
Care and cleaning
No routine maintenance is required. Clean with water or a damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads, powders or harsh scrubbing that could mark the powder-coated finish.
Outdoor pieces can be wiped clean as required. Damage that exposes bare steel should be touched in to reduce local rusting.
