Giant Metal Coneflowers
A set of three handcrafted steel coneflowers that stand one metre high and add height, movement and year-round sculptural flower shapes to borders, beds and wildflower planting.
Each coneflower is made from heavy-grade steel with a forked ground stake that anchors it securely in the soil. The raised central cones and narrower flower heads give them a distinctive natural silhouette.
Choose either a developed Rusted finish or Ready to Rust bare steel. The natural patina develops warm, earthy tones and continues to change with the weather.
The flowers can be spaced individually through a border or grouped together for a stronger display. They also make an unusual, long-lasting gift for gardeners and nature lovers.

Made to order in up to 7 working days. Courier delivery usually takes a further 2–4 working days, giving an estimated delivery window of 9–11 working days from ordering.
Returns
This product can be returned if you change your mind.
Please let me know within 14 days of receiving your order if you would like to return it. You then have a further 14 days to send it back.
Returned items should be kept in good condition. Please see the Terms & conditions for full returns information, or contact me if you have any questions before ordering.
Your statutory rights are not affected if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Dimensions and set contents
Each order contains a set of three handcrafted metal coneflowers.
- Overall height: approximately 100 cm
- Height above ground: approximately 90 cm
- In-ground fork: approximately 10 cm
- Flower-head diameter: approximately 12 - 14 cm
Each flower is individually made, so small differences in shape and posture are part of the handmade character of the set.
Positioning the flowers
Push the forked base firmly into suitable soil so the flower stands securely.
Hold the flower by the lower stem while positioning it. Avoid forcing it into very hard or stony ground by pressing on the flower head.
The flowers work well placed individually through a border or grouped together for a stronger display. Allow enough space for the stems and flower heads to move gently in the breeze without bumping nearby walls, fences or delicate plants.
Check that each flower remains firmly anchored after strong winds or very wet weather.
Finish and natural weathering
Choose between a developed rust finish or clean bare steel that will develop its own patina outdoors.
Rusted flowers arrive with an established natural rust finish. Ready to Rust flowers arrive freshly made in bare steel and will begin weathering naturally after they are placed outside.
To encourage the rusting process, lightly mist the steel with salty water and allow it to dry outdoors. Repeat as required until the colour develops.
Once the patina reaches a colour you like, a light coat of linseed oil or Danish oil can help preserve its appearance and slow further weathering. Applying oil will soften and slightly deepen the colour.
Left untreated, the steel will continue to weather and change naturally over time.
Each flower is individually cut, shaped, welded and finished by hand. Small differences in shape, posture, weld detail and patina are part of its handmade character.

Where a customisation box is shown, use it for straightforward instructions that do not change the basic product, such as peg positions on plant stands, small clearance changes or additional information about your requirement.
