£25.00

A handmade wall-mounted bird bath and feeder designed to provide an elevated place for garden birds to drink, bathe or feed.

The solid steel bracket supports a removable natural terracotta saucer and can be fitted to a suitable wall, fence post, shed or similar secure surface.

Select the powder-coated bracket colour.

The saucer can be used for fresh water or suitable bird food. Adding clean stones that project above shallow water also creates landing points for bees and other insects.

Each piece is handmade to order in my Norfolk workshop. The terracotta saucer is included; screws and wall plugs are not supplied.

Estimated delivery

Made to order in up to 7 working days. Courier delivery usually takes a further 2–4 working days, giving an estimated delivery window of 9–11 working days from ordering.

Sizes and included saucer

One size is currently available:

  • 16 cm diameter terracotta saucer

Each bird bath and feeder includes one natural-coloured removable terracotta saucer and a handmade steel supporting bracket.

Wall screws and plugs are not included, allowing suitable fixings to be selected for the fence, wall, shed, tree or other mounting surface.

Positioning and wall fixings

Position the bracket where birds have a clear approach and can see their surroundings, while keeping it reasonably sheltered from strong wind and heavy foot traffic.

It can be fitted to a suitable wall, fence post, shed or similar secure surface. Choose a position that remains accessible for removing, cleaning and refilling the saucer.

Screws and wall plugs are not included. Select fixings suitable for the mounting surface and the combined weight of the bracket, saucer and water or feed.

Use the fixing points to mark the surface, check the bracket is level and secure it firmly before adding the terracotta saucer.

Using it for birds and bees

The removable saucer can be used either for fresh water or for suitable bird food. Avoid filling it with both at the same time.

When used as a bird bath, add a shallow amount of clean water and replace it regularly. Keep the saucer securely seated in the steel bracket.

To create a watering point for bees and other insects, place several clean stones or pebbles in the saucer so they project above the water and provide safe landing places.

When used as a feeder, remove old or wet food before refilling and choose feed appropriate for the birds visiting your garden.

Colours and custom colours

Standard colours are Black, White, Dark Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow and Pink.

Please contact me for a RAL reference for any particular colour. Colours can look slightly different on screen depending on the device and lighting.

For a colour that is not listed, contact me before ordering. A custom powder colour normally has a setup charge of approximately £15–£20, depending on the finish.

Multiple items in the same custom colour incur one setup charge rather than a separate charge for every item.

Cleaning and seasonal care

Remove the terracotta saucer regularly and wash it with clean water and a suitable brush. Remove old food, droppings and other debris before refilling.

Refresh drinking and bathing water frequently, especially during warm weather. Avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals that could leave harmful residues.

Wipe the powder-coated steel bracket with a soft damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive pads, wire brushes or harsh chemical cleaners on the finish.

Terracotta can absorb water and may crack during freezing conditions. Empty and store the saucer somewhere sheltered during hard frost.
